I’m am so sorry you went through all of this and continue struggle with it all. I have trans friends and I’m familiar with the discrimination and lack of compassion. Fortunately where I am from it’s more widely accepted. I hope that when your book comes out that it helps shine a bright light not just on the poor practices of the NHS but the lack of compassion of the people. Thank you for sharing. 🦋💚

Thank you. I am still struggling with the NHS even at this minute, as they are refusing to accept that their systems may have messed up a prescription, instead blaming my pharmacy which has delivered perfectly acceptable customer service. I have literally been hung up on by the receptionist. Sadly, this General Practitioner (GP) experience is expected in the UK, and it doesn't matter what GP you go to. GPs are private businesses that are trying to make money in a state-funded health system.

This is what happens when the health service becomes a state religion that cannot be challenged. This is what happens when we clap for NHS workers during a pandemic unconditionally. We treat the NHS as a type of god, and not something that too, can fail to protect us.

“I’m really sorry that all this happened, but you did the right thing by making your voice heard. Be brave and yes, you are brave. Much love!!
